We’ve been helping patients recover for nearly two decades
Many of our patients come in scared, overwhelmed, and worried about getting started. You aren’t alone. ERC Bethesda treats children, teens, and adults in a dedicated space built to meet you or your loved one exactly where they are. You can do this, we’ve seen it happen thousands of times over.

We’ve supported thousands of families in lasting recovery
This is what healing looks like.
The Metro station is within walking distance, making it easier for patients and families to access care without driving.
We don’t expect you to do this alone. Families play an important role in their loved one’s routines and recovery. Through family therapy, we equip caregivers with the tools and support they need to continue progress when their loved one returns home.
Our Bethesda team is present, responsive, and actively involved in care. We focus on creating a warm, supportive environment where patients and families feel welcomed, heard, and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Eating disorder treatment shouldn’t mean falling behind in school. With on-site education support, we help children and teens stay connected to their coursework while they focus on healing. Our team coordinates with schools so learning continues alongside recovery.

Great therapists dietitian and staff
From my first day and my husband ushering me gently inside because I was nervous to my last day, procrastinating leaving, I am exceptionally grateful for ERC and their staff. Every member of staff I encountered cared for me for me more than I cared about myself both physically and mentally. Other patients journeys were inspiring to witness and helped boost my recovery journey. Highly highly recommend.”

Most patients in need of a higher level of care for eating disorders (inpatient, residential, PHP) make the most progress towards recovery by taking a temporary break from schooling. We want to support your education and encourage you to give 100% of your focus to recovery so that you can get back to college and thrive. If you have concerns about maintaining your education and are eligible for a lower level of care, stay enrolled in school while taking part in Eating Recovery At Home — our virtual eating disorder treatment program.
